We realise that there has been little mention on the website for a while but rest assured that the team are well and good and everything is underway for a cracking 2010. News will be up on this site real soon regarding our new title sponsors and our plans for the coming season.

Rob is the team manager for the ironhorse extreme mountain bike team that he set up and has raced for since 2004.
With a personal race history that spans the last 15 years, he has raced all over the world, has 118 career victories, in every distance from 1 hour short track xc to 24 hour solo. He has broken records and been an age group World Champion.
He is the driving force behind both the team, which has developed into the number 1 enduro mountain bike team in the UK, and the Seven Deadly Spins.
Our Man in the North!
In May 2009 Rich will be attempting 7ds5; the hardcore off-road Coast-to-Coast in one sitting, starting at St Bees and ending in Robin Hoods Bay.
A perrenial shadowy figure on the moors and fells of Northumberland, Cumbria and Yorkshire, Rich has been eyeing this one up for some time... Is it possible in under 24hrs? There's only one way to find out!
Should be a good bit of training for the 2009 Adrenalin World Solo Championships.
Dave (Blanche) Buchanan is a Clinical Specialist Orthotist with a special interest in functional and applied biomechanics.
He likes nothing better than to size somebody up in a gait lab and see what’s going wrong, what is working correctly and how he can make everything sweet for the rider.
This proves to be of great advantage to any 24hr and Ultra-endurance athletes, where the smallest biomechanical issue could lead to major problems.
One of Dave’s roles within the Ironhorse-Extreme Team and 7DS environments will be to ensure that all parties are able to satisfy the goals that are set by and for them.
He also has a small part to play on Challenge number 4…
Zoe is a registered dietitian and is in charge of ensuring that the riders meet their nutritional needs, both in training, competition and whenever one of them attempts a 7ds ride.
A keen mountain biker, Zoe also practices Brazilian Juijitsu and regularly challenges herself with a variety of sporting challenges
